Preparing Students for Careers in Technologies

WHat We Do

IEEE stands for The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The mission of the IEEE is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. With 400,000 members, IEEE is the world’s largest professional technical organization. As a student branch of the IEEE, our mission is to prepare students for careers in technology. To further this mission, we do a variety of events and projects, including tech talks, corporate recruiting, socials, service projects, and technical workshops.


Week 5 Events

TamuMAKE- a 24-hour hardware hackathon where you and your teammates design and create a project of your choosing.

Soccer Intramural Game 2- Join or come support the IEEE as we go for the gold this spring semester.

IEEE National General Meeting- Come Learn more about the national branch of IEEE and the many resources that IEEE can offer you as an electrical engineer.
